Doctor Who – Beneath The Ice
A featurette looking at the making of the two animated episodes of The Ice Warriors, a classic Doctor Who story from 1967. Features interviews with producers, Niel Bushnell and Chris Chapman, and director Chris Chatterton.

Who Peter titles
Who Peter titles - CGI animation. Who Peter was a two-part documentary hosted by Gethin Jones. It appeared on two separate Doctor Who DVD releases and explored the long relationship between Doctor Who and Blue Peter.

Hyperdrive
Hyperdrive (BBC2) - animation & VFX work for 2 series of the sci-fi sitcom. Directed over 500 shots of complex animation & graphics. Also contributed to the design of many of the ships seen throughout the series.

Blake’s Junction 7
Blake's Junction 7 poster art - pencils, chalk and digital colours. Promotional poster created for the short film, Blake's Junction 7. The brief was to create a movie poster for the film, using reference images of its stars, Martin Freeman, Jonny Vegas and Mark Heap.

Wigets Factory
Wigets Factory - pencils with digital colours, converted to vector art. Background art for a corporate client. I initially blocked out the scene in pencil, then moved into Photoshop and completed the colour work. Finally the image was converted into vector art.

Neon Bear concept
Neon Bear concept - pencil sketch, digital colours with photo manipulation. Concept for an animation brief which never came off. It sounded like a great idea - lots of city signs coming together to form a bear which would bound through the streets.

Animex Festival sting
Animex Festival sting - Production of a 1 minute animated intro for the Animex Animation Festival. Inspired in part by the history of television the sting makes use of the festivals TV shaped logo. The music was provided by Steve Luck.

Daniel comic work
Daniel concept study - pencil, ink and letratone. This was a concept piece for a comic strip I started many years ago. I'd planned it as an epic biblical account of a future prophet. I did this image, and a six page intro story, but that's as far as it went.
